Finalists Revealed: Belle Coco Republic Interior Design Awards 2017

Cutting edge residential interiors and revolutionary retail spaces are highlights of the shortlist for the 2017 Belle Coco Republic Interior Design Awards. Celebrating the pursuit of excellence, innovation and quality in interior design, the influential program showcases outstanding work by Australia’s leading and emerging interior architects and designers.

Co-presented by Belle magazine and Coco Republic, the Belle Coco Republic Interior Design Awards recognise and celebrate the best of Australian interior design across residential, commercial and hospitality categories. Now in its seventh year, the 2017 shortlist demonstrates visionary design and innovative solutions from creative talent across the country.

“Every year the jury is impressed by the rigorous thinking and innovative design of the submissions,” says the editor of Belle magazine, Tanya Buchanan. “This year the pool of entries demonstrates the maturity of the Australian design industry and promotes extraordinary interior design.”

Anthony Spon-Smith, executive director, Coco Republic said, “It is wonderful to see the awards grow in both size and recognition each year. It has always been important for Coco Republic to be involved with the industry and we’re proud to showcase projects that demonstrate the pinnacle of Australian interior design.”

In addition to the focus on design diversity across residential, commercial and hospitality categories, the Belle Coco Republic Interior Design Awards has dedicated awards for kitchen and bathroom design. This year sees the introduction of two new categories, the Emerging Design Star and Best Work with Colour Award.
