Now in their fifth year, the awards – which acknowledge excellence in Australian interior design and decoration – set the benchmark for expertise, creativity and vision in what is a highly competitive, highly progressive industry.
The winners in this year’s awards represent an Australian design landscape that is fast becoming known for its unique, fresh and challenging aesthetic. The rigorous selection process has resulted in a stellar list of winners who have produced impressive and innovative work across residential, commercial and hospitality sectors.
Alongside me, this year’s judging panel included Coco Republic executive director Jeremy Byrne, Belle editor Tanya Buchanan, renowned publisher and author, Karen McCartney and esteemed designer Greg Natale.
Belle editor Tanya Buchanan says of the winners: “It’s so important to applaud Australia’s fantastic interior design industry and the superb work we produce. There’s definitely a new confidence running through our design industry at the moment, as you will see from these winning projects.”
The award winners are profiled in Belle’s June/July 2015 issue, on sale Monday 18th May 2015
