Online Security
Coco Republic uses the Qvalent security system through Westpac for all online payments. Qvalent treats security as a prime concern. As Qvalent is a 100% wholly owned subsidiary of the Westpac Banking Corporation, it must conform to all Westpac security policies. This is to ensure that the Customer’s and Westpac’s data is secure. No insecure network applications are used and all communications between Qvalent applications themselves or external applications are carried out over secure links.
All financial data transmitted by Qvalent (Westpac) must be encrypted and digitally signed, for both the customer and Westpac’s protection. Qvalent meets the requirements of the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCIDSS).
When you place an order online with your credit card, your transaction gets sent straight to Westpac. You must be registered before credit card processing will begin. Part of this registration will be to issue you with a username and password. This username/password combination must be entered with every request.
We do not share your information with any third parties and payment is managed directly by the bank. Our online system uses an encryption method so your details cannot be shared. Once the transaction is processed, you are then brought back to the Coco Republic site. Your privacy and online security is of the highest priority for us.
