With a luxury feel and moody accents Caine Hodder, Director at Caine Anthony Interior Design, captured the essence of a bachelor haven with his recent project at Bondi Junction.
“This project was about creating a comfortable, sleek, sexy interior for my client. The only request he gave me was to include Versace bedding in the design and the rest of the apartment evolved from there,” says Hodder.
A dark colour scheme, coordinated textures and expertly curated bespoke hero pieces marry the moody and luxurious style of the apartment.
“I knew this project had to include some special elements and along with a sexy master bedroom, I wanted to carry this out into the living space,” explains Hodder.
Specified with sumptuous velvet upholstery, Timothy Outlon’s Shabby Modular Sofa was the hero of the living area.
“I’ve always loved Timothy Oulton and the Shabby Modular was perfect for the space. It is such a sexy piece and has the perfect level of comfort so my client can lay around. The sofa was chosen to be quite large to be the centre of attention in the space,” says Hodder.
To balance the space, the designer focused on keeping areas lightly styled, with high-end statement pieces that speak to the living space in order to create flow.
“The dining space was kept very minimal but complimented the living area with the Angeles dining chairs, also by Timothy Oulton,” says Hodder of the specification process.
The result left the client with a bachelor’s sanctuary suitable for real living among beautiful interiors.
