Our Latest Project: Christchurch Home

Coco Republic Interior Design recently completed a full interior project in Christchurch, New Zealand. The homeowners who had seen our work at a property in Australia and the Coco Republic aesthetic was what they wanted for their new build home in Christchurch.

Coco Republic Senior Interior Designer Jase Campbell  worked on the project on the ground in Auckland with Coco Republic Design Consultant Cat Lawson. For the scheme, he says “The look is contemporary and monochromatic but has a lovely warmth to it – it feels very restful and homely”.

Coco Republic worked with the blank canvas four bedroom property to create a modern but comfortable home, specifying the furniture, rugs and lighting for the homeowners to move in and call their own.

Jase further describes the project, “we focused on layering a greater spectrum of finishes and materials, making the living spaces tactile and inviting”.

A dark and light palette inspired the selections with the layering of a spectrum of finishes including silver resin, white marble, grey linen and black iron. The mixed materials make the spaces throughout the home tactile and inviting.

The end result was not only a home to relax in, but an entertainer’s delight for when the couple’s children and their families visit.
