Coco Republic Launches Timothy Oulton Melbourne

Last month, Coco Republic opened its 7th national showroom in Melbourne; a concept store collaboration with globally renowned furniture and homewares brand Timothy Oulton.

Timothy Oulton first hit the Australian market last November, and has since experienced overwhelming success at its original gallery home at the Coco Republic Design Center, in Alexandria

For those of you who are just discovering the brand, Timothy Oulton is a family owned company based in the UK, known world wide for their distinctive British design aesthetic.  With origins in antique trading, the contemporary Timothy Oulton collection references authentic design and draws on traditional hand crafted manufacturing techniques to create pieces that are unique in both construction and design.

Many of the pieces in the collection are constructed using high grade raw, natural and reclaimed materials sourced from around the globe.

The new concept store in Melbourne is truly a showroom ‘experience’ – a feast for the senses – with Coco Republic and Timothy Oulton collaborating on a space that has been stopping traffic. Styled with antiques from around the globe, including a 1950’s military mine submarine and a 70 year old iron English phone booth, the Timothy Oulton store takes the furniture experience to a whole new level.

Whether you’re based in Melbourne or simply visiting, make sure you come by the store and check it out; it’s a sensory experience you won’t forget.
