Hotel Les Deux Tours, Marrakech

The Hotel Les Deux Tours in Marrakech – I recently stayed at this amazing place when we visited Marrakech end of May this year. It is a little oasis located in the Palmeraie, just outside the hectic and vibrant streets of Marrakech, a perfect little escape.

Originally built in 1991 as a small arab-andulsian village, the six villas and the park of 3 hectares, were converted into a unique hotel in 2008 by renowned French architect Charles Boccara who also designed the Tichka Hotel and the Marrakech Opera House.  Only a short drive from the main roads, Les Deux Tours offers a luxury stay in a setting of palm trees, looking out over the Atlas Mountains.

The decoration is something to write home about too, with every room designed down to the finest detail.  The vaulted ceilings, hidden alcoves, bright smatterings of coloured tiles (zelliges), private gardens and oriental fountains, all work together to create a unique place place to be inspired and unwind.

You’ll also be relieved to know the hotel has a beautiful pool, which is an essential escape from the desert heat.

Below are some of my own photographs of the location, so feel free to day dream away…
