The Perfect Pairing: Shagreen & Metallics

Introducing the latest furniture collections from Coco Republic for a breathtaking interior.

Taking inspiration from the French Renaissance and American design, these new lines deliver contemporary character and elegance into the Australian home. The much coveted pebbled veneer of shagreen and new occasional chairs and sofas from American label, Bernhardt are guaranteed to revitalise any home.

Our new collection of shagreen pieces are designed by Coco Republic takes a classic lead from Europe but with an Australian compatibility that I feel delivers on our promise at Coco Republic to deliver international design in an Australian way.

The Shagreen collection features 12 new pieces including a coffee table, side table, console, bookshelf, desk, bedside tables, mirrors and a stunning bar cart. The collection features a chic European aesthetic accentuating the soft hues of Shagreen surface material to create tailored, eye-catching pieces that are easy to incorporate into any scheme. Like timber and stone, less is more when it comes to incorporating. In the living room the Fenton Bar Cart is sure to make a statement. As Shagreen is so tactile, it sits nicely as a feature within a study or upon entry to a home, a Shagreen Desk layered with beautiful stationary and a statement lamp would also be a striking choice.

Coco Republic gives you many reasons to update your occasional chairs with the new range from Bernhardt, designed and hand made in America. The Bernhardt, Vermont occasional Chair is a casual interpretation of a mid-century silhouette whilst the clean, architectural lines of the Hollis occasional Chair available in fabric and leather proves to be a modern classic. The Princeton Hide Occasional Chair celebrates purity in form and function with its low lying profile and clean, modern lines.
