No longer just a hub of activity on racedays, The Australian Turf Club has stepped up their game with a unique partnership with The Keystone Group at the recently renovated Royal Randwick Racecourse.
The Stables Sydney is a luxury private member’s club unlike no other in this city and to walk in, you need to be invited by a member. Built on the fourth floor of the newly built grandstand, the venue offers an exclusive spot for work, networking and entertaining or a bit of R&R, seven days a week.
When I first stepped in to The Stables, I was wowed by the opulent and sophisticated scheme. The first thing you notice is four beautifully detailed wooden horse stables, built entirely from scratch. The scheme is nothing less than I would have expected from firm Woods Bagot, also behind the impressive design of The Ivy complex. A cross between old-school sporting and new-cool contemporary clubs, the interiors feel both bold and assertive.
In addition to sourcing pieces from global design destinations including New York and Berlin, The Keystone Group Creative Director Paul Schulte furnished the exclusive club with an extensive range of products from Coco Republic and Timothy Oulton. The Brentwood Occasional Chair, Le Brea Dining Chair and the Art Line Cards collection by Timothy Oulton, just a few of the pieces from Coco Republic, complement the high end design aesthetic of the space.
With a prime position amplifying the luxurious interiors, the club has commanding views of the racecourse, lush Centennial Park and the city skyline making it the ideal destination for either business or socialising.
