Iconic Glamour at The Athenaeum Hotel & Residences

Soho, Kensington and Mayfair are home to some of the world’s finest hotels, from boutique to grand gestures of prosperity. It’s within these areas of London where you’ll find the crème de la crème. The iconic The Athenaeum Hotel & Residences exudes unparalleled luxury and glamour.

British design studio Kinnersley Kent Design were the talent behind the multi-million-dollar overhaul of The Athenaeum Hotel & Residences, transforming the prestigious family-run Mayfair establishment into an opulent haven fit for a star.

Taking into account the amazing entertainment history, Kinnersley Kent Design resuscitated the building’s art deco charm through the installation of a breathtaking bronze and brass façade on its ground floor, setting up the scene for the rest of the luxurious hotel.

Dark timber, brass and bronze features throughout the hotel to create cohesion from space to space. An array of colour is dotted around, seen in the orange-coloured tub chairs, mustard leather wingback chairs, and blue-green sofas.

These hues continue through to the guest rooms, showcasing mainly in the luxury rooms and suites, and truly stand out against the vast amount of mirror used that bounces light around the room to create a bright and welcoming space.
