Now for everyone’s favourite part of the annual Belle Coco Republic Interior Design Awards – the big reveal of the winners in each category and inspirational work completed by each of the talented design firms who took home the trophies:
Winners of the Best Residential Design: Arent & Pyke
Lead by talented design duo Juliette Arent and Sarah-Jane Pyke, Sydney based design first Arent & Pyke took home the Residential category with their stunning project The Avenue. Mixing bold blue hues with paired back sophistication, this project perfectly balances vintage design, with contemporary edge.
Winners of the Best Corporate Design: Mim Design
Daring designer Miriam Fanning of Mim Design was awarded best design in the Corporate category for the Little Group Office. This project clearly demonstrates the elegance of clean, curved lines and utilizes natural finishes such as timber and brass to accent a neutral space.
Winners of the Best Hospitality Design: Pascale Gomes-McNabb
Cleverly juxtaposing exposed brick and raw finishes with a playful elegance, the winner of the best Hospitatlity design – Yellow by Pascale Gomes-McNabb is a unique space that feels both sophisticated and casual.
Winners of the Best Hospitality Design: Alexander & Co
In the Award’s first ever tie – the best Hospitality Design Award was also handed to Sydney-based first Alexandr & Co for their clever re-imagining of the iconic Watson’s Bay Hotel.
Winners of the Best Commercial Design: March Studio
With a futuristic and playful design concept, March Studio took out the Commercial Design Award for Sneakerboy.
And last but not least….
The overall Winner of the Belle Coco Republic Interior Designer of the Year Award……Greg Natale
Unsurprisingly, the very talented Greg Natale took home the top title of the Belle Coco Republic Interior Designer of the Year. With a stunning array of projects completed over the last year, Greg’s design work has gone from strength to strength, with each project demonstrating a desire for daring design, while balancing comfort and elegance.
