STUDENT ENROLMENT APPLICATION

Terms & Conditions:

Herein, Saveba Pty Ltd ABN 64002728985 trading as ‘Coco Republic Design School’ will be referred to as ‘CDRS’.


Location, Date and Time

The course will be take place at the CRDS campus in Alexandria, Sydney.  Details of course dates and times will be advised to you by post on confirmation of your place.

 

Language/Literacy:

All CRDS courses are taught in English. It is assumed that you are sufficiently proficient in English to comprehend design language terminology. If you have any concerns, please contact CRDS to discuss.

 

Entry to CRDS:

There are no entry requirements for CRDS courses except where noted, that previous experience or study may be a pre-requisite.

Students should be aged 17 years or over.

All students are treated equally. Our teaching staff will assist and support students where appropriate.

 

Course Description:

Most courses are run in a classroom-style or studio environment. However, students will receive both theory and practical training which may require the student to spend time outside the campus for short periods.

 

Outcome:

Upon successful completion of your chosen course, each student will be presented a CRDS certificate, plus receive a transcript, posted separately, from TAFE NSW Sydney Institute, giving students’ formal national accreditation for unit(s) studied.

 

Refund Policy for Fees Paid:

  • Submit all requests for refunds in writing to the CRDS General.
  • To secure your application (if more than forty five days prior to the commencement of the course) a deposit of $800 is required together with the submission of a CRDS Application Form.
  • The fees are payable in full forty five days prior to the commencement of any CRDS course. For those having paid a deposit, the balance of payment is due at this time.
  • A full refund of your course fees minus a 20% administration fee will be issued if you cancel within one month prior to course commencement.
  • No refund of any payment will be issued after seven days prior to course commencement. Full course fees will be payable, and no refund will be offered.
  • In the event that a student is unable to attend their chosen course in a particular Term (given at least 24 hours notice prior to the Term’s commencement) your booking and payment is transferable to another Term or person (maximum 2 transfers only).
  • In the event that a course is oversubscribed or cancelled by CRDS for any reason, students have the option of transferring to another course, or receive a full refund.

 

Deferment of Study:

  • Students may defer their study only in exceptional cases and only up to a maximum of six months. An application to defer must be received in writing to the CRDS General Manager for consideration.
  • An administration fee of $250 is charged for all deferment applications.
  • Refunds are not available once the course has commenced though the course can be completed at a later stage subject to a position being available.
  • Your signed CRDS Application Form is confirmation that you accept and commit to paying the fees as they are stated on this form.

 

Complaint Procedure:

Upon commencement of your course, you will be issued with a Complaints Policy and Procedure. Confidentiality is assured, and your complaint will not hinder your education at CRDS in any way.

 

Conduct:

Students are expected to act within an acceptable code of conduct. In the cases of an incident arising, discipline may be initiated by a CRDS staff member, and if required, a further meeting may be scheduled with the CRDS General Manager and/or a senior Design Centre Enmore (TAFE NSW) representative.
