Indigo by TomMarkHenry

A dynamic design studio in Sydney, TomMarkHenry are renowned for their remarkable commercial, hospitality and residential interiors. Indigo in Sydney’s Double Bay is no exception; a bustling cafe with beautiful interiors – you’ll be onto your third coffee before you’re ready to leave the ambience behind.

For the design firm, “the brief was to create an inviting and timeless space that reflects Indigo’s branding and naming, the physical environment, the food and their incredible service in a café setting that works seamlessly from day to afternoon.”

A Coco Republic house favourite, the Drexel Dining Chair is a perfect introduction into the scheme. High end, refined yet exuding character, the Drexel features in black leather crafted by hand in South America.

To nail the brief, the team explains, “we took into consideration many factors; the types of clientele, the food, the traffic, the personalities of the owners and their values, their requirements and restrictions, the environment and their branding and the site. After delving into the psyche of the space we felt we understood its personality enough to dress it; a comfortable slightly worn space with a softness to combat the intensity of the flow of people.”

If you haven’t been to Indigo, then a visit is on the cards.
