French Safari Hideaway

Safari style meets French perfection in this beautiful Colonial home in Saint Barth, in the French West Indies. Using a restrained black and white colour palette, the high ceiling, exposed beams and large windows create a feeling of wide open space and relaxation. The interiors complement the architecture without overpowering it.

As you can see, the furniture is an eclectic mix of vintage trunks, stacks of books, 1800's Chinese cabinetry, relaxed white linen sofas, tribal art, vintage bird cages and polynesian shells.  Owned by a Danish couple who use it as a holiday retreat, there is also a slight Scandinavian influence. With spectacular ocean views and serene interiors, this is the perfect island escape.
