Pretty in Pink

From potted geraniums and soft wisteria in the garden, to grapefruit sorbet and understated stylish napery, pale icy pink is the colour inspiring me most.

Adding a slight tint of pink to an interior feels fresh and summery; a welcome change from a modern neutral palette.

Pale pink, with its traditionally girly connotations, doesn’t have to be a shade to shy away.  When done well in the home, it is graceful, elegant and classically beautiful. I love the look of icy shades of pink paired back with soft greys in a room. The results are enchanting and the grey tones down the overtly feminine feel.

A simple statement of icy pink can be achieved with artwork, scatter cushions and fresh flowers. Or be a little more daring with a bedhead, curtains or a sofa in this delightful colour.
