1. Key Terms & Conditions of Purchase Summary
- Stocked product is subject to a 20% order cancellation fee.
- Non-stock, custom, bespoke products is subject to a 55% order cancellation fee.
- Floorstock items are non-refundable.
- Availability is as of Quote date. Items not reserved until deposit paid.
- Final payment for items is required to secure delivery.
- Delivery timelines are best estimates and may be subject to variability.
- Subject to location, please allow for up to an additional 2 weeks to the states delivery date for all Regional deliveries.
- You will be provided with a delivery confirmation 24 hours prior to the Delivery Date.
2. Acknowledgement and Acceptance
Saveba Pty Ltd (ABN: 64 002 728 985) trading as Coco Republic (Coco Republic) owns the websites including those at www.cocorepublic.com.au and designfieldnotes.com (Websites). These Terms and Conditions given use of the (Terms).
By accepting these Terms or using the Websites, you represent and acknowledge that you are over 18 years old and you have read and understood them and agree to be bound by these Terms.
If you are purchasing items through the Websites, you agree that these Terms apply to each order you place.
If you are entering into these Terms on behalf of another entity, you do so representing that you have the authority to bind that entity to these Terms. If you do not have the authority or do not agree to these Terms, you are not permitted to use the Websites or services.
The Terms may be updated by us from time to time. If we make any material changes to the Terms we will notify you. Your continued use of the services and Websites will amount to acceptance of any updated Terms.
3. Using the Websites
All our users are responsible and legally liable for their activity, behaviour, use of and conduct on the Coco Republic websites.
4. Online & In-Store Orders
a) Full Payment for products must be made at the time of purchase.
Coco Republic reserves the right to decline or accept orders made through the Coco Republic Website, and from time to time, Coco Republic may need to restrict the quantity of specific goods.b) Occasionally, certain goods may be out of stock or be subject to long lead times. The estimated lead-times are an approximation only and are subject to change. If we are unable to fulfil your order, we will either refund you the price of the goods or provide you with a credit in the form of a Coco Republic Gift Card (whichever you decide).
c) Delivery and installation fees will depend on where your order is being delivered, the size of the package and the weight. Products bought online can only be delivered within Australia. It is the customer’s responsibility to ensure that the correct delivery address, contact number(s) and email address are provided to Coco Republic. The Customer must inform Coco Republic of any issues, difficulties or specific requirements associated with the delivery of the products and must ensure that the item ordered is capable of delivery such as through doorways and up stairs (for example).
d) Someone aged over 18 must be present and able to accept the delivery at the delivery address supplied by the customer. Coco Republic reserves the right to nominate the day of delivery of the Goods, which will be performed within a mutually agreed timeframe, and all reasonable endeavours will be made to ensure this occurs. Unforeseeable circumstances may impact delivery within the agreed timeframe.
e) Cancellations or changes to delivery times by the customer within forty-eight (48) hours prior to the arranged delivery time will incur a minimum cancellation fee of one hundred and ten dollars ($110.00) inclusive of GST.
f) Delivery of Goods:
Once your items are available for delivery, we will contact you to arrange final payment and arrange a delivery date and time.
If you are unable to accept delivery within 14 days from the date we first notify you your goods are ready for delivery, a storage fee of $500 (inclusive of GST) per week will be payable until delivery is arranged for the goods. Storage fees will be incurred on a weekly basis until delivery has been completed. Your order will not be redelivered until any storage fees are paid prior to final delivery.
Delivery will only be made to the person authorised under the customer account, unless agreed otherwise with Coco Republic prior to delivery. Any person who accepts delivery of the goods at the delivery address must be 18 years or over and able to accept delivery.
If there is no one available to accept delivery on the pre-arranged delivery date or you cancel within 48 hours of your scheduled delivery date, you will be charged for the pre-arranged delivery costs, re-delivery costs and incur a $50 administration fee.
g) Risk and liability in goods passes to you at the time of delivery of the Goods to your nominated address.
h) Regional customers must nominate their own transport carrier and pay all associated charges and insurances direct to that carrier. Collection of Goods must be coordinated in advance with a minimum of forty-eight (48) hours notice including final payment in full.
i) We use standard encryption to keep your personal information secure throughout the payment process. We do not store your credit card or bank information. We will not be liable for any damages or losses caused if a member’s card is used fraudulently.
j) All online purchases are subject to Coco Republic’s Cancellations, Returns and Refund Policy.
5. Pricing
All prices listed on the website are in Australian Dollars unless otherwise specified.
b) All prices on the website include all applicable taxes unless otherwise specified.
c) All prices on the Coco Republic website are subject to change without notice.
d) Prices for items on your order are fixed once your order has been confirmed, Subsequent price changes either up or down will not be retroactively applied to confirmed orders.
e) You agree to pay delivery charges as they are calculated and listed in the order confirmation at the time of purchase
a) Where a product listing shows pricing with a cross-line through, that pricing refers to a previous selling price, a recommended retail price (RRP)
6. Coco Republic Gift Card | Terms and Conditions
6.1 General
These Coco Republic Gift Card Terms and Conditions (Terms) apply to the purchase and use of Coco Republic’s Gift Cards (Gift Card) and are in addition to our Terms and Conditions set out here. Your purchase, activation, use or attempted use of a Gift Card constitutes your acceptance of these Terms.
If you are purchasing a Gift Card as a gift for another person, you should ensure that person is aware of these Terms including the expiry date of the Gift Card.
6.2 Purchase / Activation of Gift Cards
Gift Cards are available for purchase from any Coco Republic showroom.
When you purchase a Gift Card, you nominate the amount you want to put on the card (must be a minimum of $50.00) and pay that amount by any means other than by another Gift Card.
Coco Republic will also collect personal information about you or the recipient of the Gift Card and create an account in the name of the cardholder which will be linked to the unique reference number of the card. The information we collect will include the cardholder’s name, email, address and contact number. Please refer to our Privacy Policy in relation to how we collect, use, handle and disclose your personal information.
Once payment has been accepted, the Gift Card will take 1-3 working days to be activated. Until activation, the Gift Card cannot be used for any transactions. The Gift Card will be valid for thirty six (36) months from the date of purchase.
6.3 Using the Gift Card
Gift Cards may be used to purchase goods at any Coco Republic showroom in Australia. At this time Gift Cards cannot be used to purchase goods throughout our website or any of our associated brands. To redeem your Gift Card, please present the card at the time of purchase in the showroom. Please note:
If your Gift Card exceeds the total amount of your order, the remaining balance will be automatically updated on your Gift Card;
If your order exceeds the value of the Gift Card, you must pay the remaining balance of your total order amount by an alternative form of payment (if you have existing store credit, this may be used).
You cannot exchange a Gift Card or part of it for cash.
6.4 Refunds and Credit Notes
Any refund or credit note provided by Coco Republic, will be provided with a Gift Card at the comparable value. For item(s) paid by both Gift Card and credit card, any refund will be credited to the credit card used for the original transaction up to the amount of your initial card payment and the remaining amount will be refunded with a Gift Card at the remaining amount, or otherwise as required by law.
Gift Cards cannot be returned or exchanged for cash, nor can Gift Card balances be transferred to a new Gift Card.
6.5 Cancellation / Expiry of Gift Cards
Unless otherwise indicated, Gift Cards purchased in-store are valid thirty six (36) months after their date of purchase.
Any balance remaining on a Gift Card after its expiry will be forfeited and will automatically become the property of Coco Republic.
Gift Cards cannot be re-loaded or topped-up with additional credit. Once a Gift Card reaches a zero balance, that card will expire.
Coco Republic may cancel a Gift Card for any reason, at any time without notice. If so, a refund or a replacement Gift Card of equivalent value maybe offered unless fraud is reasonably suspected in relation to the Gift Card.
The Gift Card remains the property of Coco Republic.
Gift Cards are the sole responsibility of the purchaser and recipient. Coco Republic is not responsible for lost, stolen or damaged cards or unauthorised use.

Our Goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law
7.1 Consumer
The following only applies if you are a “Consumer” as defined in Section (3) of the Australian ConsumerLaw. It may not apply in your particular case.
7.2 Consumer Guarantees
Our Goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the Goods repaired or replaced if the Goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.
7.3 Damaged Items
When an item is delivered it is required that the item is inspected by the customer. Any visible damage to the items needs to be identified to the delivery driver at time of receipt. If the item is received in packaging, if any damage is noted, this needs to be reported to Coco Republic within 48 hours of delivery. If Coco Republic is not notified within the required 48 hours of delivery, then Coco Republic is not able to take any responsibility for the damage. 7.4 Additional Warranties
7.4.1 Some goods you purchase from us may come with the additional warranties below. These are in addition to the other rights and remedies available to you under the Australian Law.
7.4.2 These additional warranties are offered by Coco Republic having regard to the nature, design and features of the goods. For example, if the goods are of a rustic or organic nature, then surface details may vary from imagery and display models. Where natural materials are used in the manufacturing process or are handmade, minor variations will occur from piece to piece. Such variations as a result of the nature of the goods are not considered defects under this warranty.
7.4.3 Any additional warranties below do not apply to:
7.4.3.1 defects or damage resulting
from negligence, abuse or misuse, including (but not limited to) inadequate or improper maintenance, exposure to water, direct sunlight, salt air, chemicals, accidents, any use for which the product was not designed nor does it cover ordinary wear-and-tear;7.4.3.2 the fabric or leather coverings or goods or furniture or cane/wicker furniture (unless the terms of sale expressly say so);
7.4.3.3 any failure by you to follow the Coco Republic Care Instructions or manufacturer’s instructions or specifications; care instructions can be found here
7.4.3.4 if a product is relocated from its original delivery location by transporters not approved by Coco Republic or the relocation caused damage due to improper packaging and transporting;
7.4.3.5 any furniture which has been exposed to Extreme Use (Extreme Use is damage caused by more than ‘normal wear and tear;’ or spills such as acid, solvents, dyes, or other corrosive materials, ink, paint or body fluids; moisture of any kind, improper cleaning techniques or placing furniture outdoors, in close proximity to heat or in direct sunlight);
7.4.3.6 any work or installation carried out on the item by a contractor or third party not approved in writing by Coco Republic.
7.5 Other Manufacturer’s Warranties
If a separate or additional manufacturer’s Warranty applies, then Coco Republic will advise you of its details.
7.6 Manufacturers’ warranties
The following warranties will be available to the relevant goods purchased from Coco Republic, unless the description of the good or product specifies otherwise.
These words have the following meaning in the table below.
“Commercial Use Furniture” means furniture for business, commercial, industrial, hospitality or any non-residential purpose or use.
“Furniture” includes furniture used for personal, domestic or household use or consumption but excludes Commercial Use Furniture.
“Ex-Rental Stock” means certain goods which are second-hand, used or ex-rental.
"Factory Second Stock” means certain goods that: (1) due to a fault or imperfection (e.g. cosmetic issues such as scratching or denting; (2) could be an ex display model or floor stock; and is sold at a reduced price.
The same warranties and criteria in the table apply to the purchase of Ex-Rental Stock / Factory Second Stock, however, the warranty for Ex-Rental Stock / Factory Second Stock will be subject to implied guarantees as well as to the state of repair of the Ex-Rental Stock / Factory Second Stock item at the time of sale. The purchaser also acknowledges he or she has seen or examined the Ex-Rental Stock / Factory Second Stock prior to purchase or noted the description of the goods including the goods state of repair. Not all Ex-Rental Stock / Factory Second Stock will come with an Ex-Rental Stock / Factory Second Stock Warranty– this will depend on the condition of each item.
“Structural Warranty” means a warranty relating only to the frame or internal structure of a product (and excludes any surface, decoration, fabric, cracks or finish of a product).

Coco Republic cannot give an exact timeframe by which a product will be repaired (if capable of repair) but will do so (if capable of repair) within a reasonable time.
7.8 Remedies
7.8.1 Certain legislation of the Australian Consumer Law, imply guarantees and impose obligations upon Coco Republic, which cannot be excluded, restricted or modified. Where such statutory provisions apply to the extent which Coco Republic is entitled to do so, its liability shall be limited at its option to;
(i) in the case of supply of Goods, the replacement of the Goods or supply of equivalent Goods; or
(ii) the payment of the cost of replacing the Goods or acquiring equivalent Goods; or
(iii) the payment of the cost of having the Goods repaired; or
(iv) the repair of the Goods.7.8.2 Where such statutory provisions apply and to the extent to which Coco Republic is entitled to do so, its liability shall be limited at its option in the case of the supply of services, to:
(i) the supply of the services again; or
(ii) payment of the cost of having the services supplied again.7.9 To claim under any of the above Warranties
7.9.1 To be entitled to claim under any of the above warranties you must:
(i) Should a defect or imperfection appear in the item within the period specified in the table in paragraph 6 above, stop using the item immediately. To make a claim under this warranty you must, before the warranty period expires:
(ii) call the Coco Republic Representative on the number available from any of our staff and provide the receipt or proof of purchase, details of what you consider the defect to be and the circumstances in which the defect appeared and all other relevant communications in respect of the Warranty claim or goods.
(iii) be mindful that the reasonable expenses you incur in claiming under a Warranty will be borne by Coco Republic. You can claim these expenses providing you raise them at the first opportunity when you make a claim and by subsequently forwarding to Coco Republic all invoices reflecting such expenses within seven (7) days.
(iv) We will then inspect and determine whether the item is defective and if, acting reasonably, we agree the item is defective and the warranty responds, we will provide the remedies identified in paragraph 7.8 above.
7.10 If Purchaser is an Interior Designer
7.10.1 Where the purchaser is an Interior Designer, the Interior Designer warrants to Coco Republic that they will not make any representation to their customer to the effect that the Interior Designer is an agent for Coco Republic. In addition, the Interior Designer will not offer any Warranty beyond that which already applies to the contract for sale between Coco Republic and the Interior Designer.
7.10.2 If the purchaser is an Interior Designer, then the Interior Designer is responsible for payment of the goods, not their own customer.
8. Your obligations when using the Coco Republic websites
8.1 Trade Marks and Copyright
a) “Coco Republic”, “Coco Republic Furniture” and "Republic Furniture" are the trading names for Saveba Pty Ltd. All references to Coco Republic include a reference to all of its related entities, authorised licensees and agents.
b) “Coco Republic Trade Marks” means all trade marks (whether or not they are registered) and trading names belonging to Coco Republic.
c) Under Australian and international law, the material on our website, including all pages, graphics and services, is subject to copyright. You must not:
i) unlawfully use any of our copyright material;
ii) pass off content from our site as your own - this includes the practice of 'framing' our site within another site as well as copying and re-using parts of the site or;
iii) use the Coco Republic Trade Marks without our prior written consent.
8.2 Unacceptable content
a) To ensure that using the Coco Republic websites is a pleasant experience for everyone, you are prohibited from posting or uploading any material on the website that:
i. violates any laws or is false or misleading;
ii. is threatening, abusive, defamatory, obscene or indecent;
iii. infringes any third-party rights including copyright, trade marks or other intellectual property rights;
iv. distributes viruses or any other technologies that may harm the Coco Republic websites, the interests or property of Coco Republic users;
v. imposes an unreasonable load on our infrastructure or interferes with the proper working of the Websites;
vi. copies, modifies, or distributes any other person's content without their consent;
vii. uses any robot, spider, scraper or other automated means to access the Coco Republic websites and collect content for any purpose without our express written permission;
viii. harvests or otherwise collects information about others, including email addresses, without their consent;
ix. bypasses measures used to prevent or restrict access to the Websites.
8.3 Comments and content
Coco Republic invites you to engage in vibrant and lively discussions in our comments section(s). However, there are limits to acceptable communication and we require that discussion and comments posted by users on the Coco Republic websites are constructive and civilised. Coco Republic has the right (in its sole discretion) to pre-screen, review, flag, filter, modify, refuse or remove any or all content from the Websites. If you find any content that is objectionable please contact the Coco Republic Privacy Officer, whose details are listed below.
8.4 User generated content
If you upload content, you agree to
(a) include attributions including the author and source where required by law to do so, and confirm that you have obtained the necessary rights to use the material in the way in which it is being used;
(b) indemnify us against all liability claims or proceedings whatsoever arising from the publication of such Content in relation to defamation, breach of copyright, infringement of trade marks or names of publication titles, unfair competition, trade practices, royalties, violation of rights or privacy;
(c) warrant that the Content complies with all relevant laws and regulations and that its publication will not give rise to any rights against or liabilities to us, our business partners and in particular that nothing included in relation to content posted on the Coco Republic websites is capable of a breach of the Australian Consumer Law.
If you post materials to or links from the Websites that infringe any third party rights, you will indemnify Coco Republic against any loss, liability, damage, cost (including Coco Republic’s reasonable legal costs) or expense arising out of or in connection with any failure on your part to obtain any necessary rights, consents, licenses or permissions or your conduct on the Websites.8.5 Copyright Assignment
You agree to assign copyright in all original content that you post on the Websites to Coco Republic and its partners, and agree to formally record such assignments when required. Coco Republic and its partners retain the copyright on all content, design and artwork produced for the Websites.
8.6 Consent
If you upload photographs, audio or video recordings of yourself, you consent to give Coco Republic and our partners the right to use these photographs and recordings in the production of the Websites. You will further allow Coco Republic and our partners the right to use or reproduce your likeness in whole or in part for publicity or broadcast purposes as they reasonably see fit.

In order for you to receive the full benefit of our goods and services, we will need to collect and use your personal information. 10.1 General
(a) Neither Coco Republic nor its partners, representatives and associated agents are liable to you or any third party for any loss in connection with the use of the Websites. This general disclaimer is not restricted or modified by any of the following specific warnings and disclaimers.
(b) You use the Websites at your own risk.
(c) Neither Coco Republic nor its related companies represent or warrant:
(i) that your use of the Coco Republic websites will meet your requirements;
(ii) that your use will be uninterrupted, timely, secure or free from error;
(iii) the accuracy of any information obtained by you as a result of your use of the Coco Republic websites, and
(iv) that defects in the operation or functionality of any part of the Coco Republic websites will be corrected.
(d) Any material downloaded or otherwise obtained through the use of the services is done at your own discretion and risk and that you will be solely responsible for any damage to your computer system or other device or loss of data that result from the download of any such material.
(e) Coco Republic excludes all warranties and conditions of any kind whether express or implied to the fullest extent permitted by law.11. Lay-by Order Terms & Conditions
11.1 Orders will be processed after the first lay-by instalment has been paid.
a. The first (1st) instalment is equal to fifty-five percent (55%) of the total order value inclusive of GST and is required at the point of sale.
b. The remaining two (2) instalments can be paid by either;
i. Paying the second (2nd) instalment by an agreed date followed by a third (3rd) and final instalment prior to confirmation of delivery booking, or alternatively;
ii. Paying the total balance prior to confirmation of the delivery booking.
11.2 Electronic Funds Transfers (EFT) require approximately two (2) business days before funds are cleared and the payment is confirmed as having been received.
11.3 The estimated lead-time is an approximation only and is subject to change.
11.4 Delivery and installation fees will depend on where your order is being delivered, the size of the goods and the weight. It is the customer’s responsibility to ensure that the correct delivery address, contact number(s) and email address are provided to Coco Republic. The Customer must inform Coco Republic of any issues, difficulties or specific requirements associated with the delivery of the products and must ensure that the item ordered is capable of delivery such as through doorways and upstairs (for example).
11.5 Delivery and installation fees are based on reasonable access being provided at the delivery address. In the event that reasonable access has not been provided additional charges will be incurred and payable at, or before, the time of delivery.
11.6 Coco Republic reserves the right to nominate the day of delivery of the Goods, which will be performed at a mutually agreed time, and all reasonable endeavours will be made to ensure this occurs.
11.7 Cancellations or changes to delivery times within forty-eight (48) hours prior to the arranged delivery time will incur a minimum cancellation fee of one hundred and ten dollars ($110.00) inclusive of GST.
11.8 If Goods are not delivered or collected within two (2) weeks after arrival at the warehouse, any outstanding balance is to be paid in full immediately. Storage fee charges (at current market rate) will commence thirty (30) days after arrival at the warehouse if Goods have not been installed or collected prior to that time.
11.9 Regional Customers must nominate their own transport carrier and pay all associated charges and insurances direct to that carrier. Collection of Goods must be coordinated in advance with a minimum of forty-eight (48) hours notice including final payment in full. Refer to Section 2. whereby EFT payments are not acknowledged until such time as the funds have been cleared, therefore payment would be required more than forty-eight (48) hours prior to the collection of the Goods to allow for this time delay with EFT payments. All Goods will be assessed in line with standard Quality Control procedures prior to collection, after which point the onus rests with the Customer and their carrier.
11.10 All lay-by orders are subject to the Coco Republic Cancellation, Returns and Refunds Policy.
11.11 Any failure by the Customer to make the payments required by the due date or if the goods are no longer available for reasons outside Coco Republic’s control will entitle Coco Republic to cancel this lay-by agreement. In the case where the Customer has failed to make payment any monies already paid are forfeited to Coco Republic. In the case where the goods are no longer available for reasons outside of Coco Republic’s control the Customer will be refunded in full in relation to those goods.
12. Returns and Refunds
12.1 Coco Republic is bound by Australian consumer law and will process all returns and refunds in line with these laws.
Please choose carefully as we do not refund or exchange if you change your mind or make a wrong selection. Once your order is confirmed, meaning you have either paid in full or made your first lay-by instalment, the order can no longer be cancelled. If you cancel your order you agree to the following:
(a) In the case of a stocked item product, which is a product that has not been customised, you will be refunded in full for the value of the product less a 20% restocking fee to cover Coco Republic’s administrative costs and expenses incurred in handling and cancelling the order(b) In the case of a customised product which is any item that has been tailored specifically for you as a Customer, you will forfeit the full amount of your 55% 1st lay-by payment
(c) You will have no further claim to the cancelled product
Coco Republic does not allow cancellations of orders, returns, refunds or exchanges on ex-rental product, clearance product or floor stock product if you change your mind. All ex-rental and floor stock products are bought in the condition they are displayed in and the Customer will be asked to sign a waiver at time of sale confirming the customer is aware no refund or exchange will be provided based on change of mind.
It is the Customers responsibility to ensure that there is reasonable access to allow the goods to be delivered. If the goods are unable to be delivered due to access, the above fees depending on whether the product was customised or not will be charged in addition to the actual cost of delivery and collection of the product. If you require an onsite access check to be performed prior to delivery this can be arranged for a fee. If an on-site access check has been performed by Coco Republic that confirmed sufficient access and the product is still unable to be delivered due to access, Coco Republic will refund the products affected in full unless there was a change to the access since the access check was performed.
13. Lead Times
Lead times are estimated only and may vary due to the bespoke nature and production time of these goods.

- Orders will be processed once we receive full payment for goods.
- Full payment must be made on the day of purchase.
- You must pay for the goods by credit card only. Cash will not be accepted on the day.
- All stock sold at the Sale are seconds, clearance, floor-stock, ex-display, ex-rental, repaired goods, or goods that may have a defect.

If you fail to pick up the goods by this time and date you will be deemed to have abandoned the goods and we will treat the goods as such.

- The Warehouse will not be open on weekends or public holidays for pick up.
- If goods are no longer available for reasons outside of our control (excluding abandoned goods), you will be refunded your payment in full in relation to those goods.
- You must arrange your own collection/ delivery for any goods purchased at the Sale.
- Any delivery carriers (Carriers) available at the Sale to assist with the delivery of your goods are independent third party businesses and are not, in no way or form, affiliated with Coco Republic.
