Coco Republic Interior Design were commissioned to complete a grand lobby space for Parramatta Square. One of Australia's largest urban renewal projects at the time by Walker Corporation with the Lang Walker family at the helm, Parramatta Square offers 290,000 sqm of retail and office space in Parramatta's city centre.
First impressions matter so the Coco Republic commercial design team curated a scheme to deliver a sophisticated lobby as the first introduction to the state of the art building. The design delivered the expectations that were required for such a vast and impressive surrounding and complemented architectural features. The brief to incorporate comfortable yet functional seating pods in multiple locations of the communal space meant that commercial quality furniture was specified from the Coco Republic Contract Collection and external suppliers. Custom designed colourful inset rugs complemented the striking artworks that appear throughout. The designers wanted to ensure that the overall look and feel of the lobby was a place that its users enjoy spending time in.
