Offering enviable waterfront living at one of Sydney's most coveted locations, Coco Republic Property Styling completed the rich, heritage interiors at The Revy for boutique developer Aqualand. What was for commercial use, are now breathtaking harbourside apartments; the historic building was formally known as the Royal Edward Victualling Yard, built between 1904 and 1912 to service the Royal Australian Navy.

Paying homage to the past yet injecting contemporary elegance in line with the interior design, stylists introduced texture, colour and high end furnishings. The styling scheme evolved to complement the grandeur of the original features and building's architecture. Floorplans and positioning of key furniture pieces carefully considered the building's orientation, footprint and grand windows and ensured the open plan feel was retained. Textural introductions played a key role in creating warmth to balance high ceilings with raw edged timbers, luxurious velvets, shagreen and brass complementing design details throughout. In particular, brass accents communicated back to the feature trim in the kitchen and hammered irons honour the original steel beams. In a nod to the harbour, shagreen creates balance whilst casual white linen pieces soften striking details. The palette was largely grey and charcoal to complement exposed original stone, highlighted with burnt orange to enhance the brick facade.

All selections speak to the core target markets for The Revy including luxury downsizers, young professionals and those wanting a premium harbourside lifestyle.
